Growing a baby inside your body.
What an amazing yet hard to grasp reality.
It really is an amazing thing.
Words cannot describe. I've never been one that's been great with words anyway.
It's been such a powerful, emotional journey.
Here is my progress ending at 38 1/2 weeks.
I started shooting at about 5 weeks.
I can't wait to hold the little boy in my arms...
and get my body back to the 5 week look.

My most recent shoot was one for a clothing company called LBD Clothing. Really great stuff. Sarah Light is the artist and creator doing the silk screens herself. I was also pleasantly surprised to know some of her models, which always makes a shoot fun. So as some of you may or may not know... we're having a baby!!! I had a couple lovely offers from photographer friends to shoot my maternity photos since my shooting partner and friend Mandy is out of the country. It's nice to have photographer friends!

A wonderful photographer Alicia Brown- Simple Pictures filled in for Mandy taking me out of my comfort zone from behind the lens to in front with my husband Keith. She did an amazing job and I wanted to share some of the photos. She shot us when I was 33 weeks... I am currently 35 1/2 and look about the same, maybe bigger. Yes, bigger, much bigger and ready to give birth to our baby boy.

Thanks so much Alicia! Can't wait to return the favor. We will cherish these photos for our lifetime.

And of course with Keith's passion for music and being a DJ and all, we had to do some with headphones! :)

I just received a Save the Date from a friend and bride that I did engagement photos last summer and felt the need to blog about it.

She said they had looked into a couple printing places and the cost was astounding so she did them herself and just got them printed and they look fabulous. She is also considering doing them for other brides and grooms out there, so if interested, let me know and I will get you in contact with her.

Today not only did I get to shoot the wonderful Heather and Will's engagement photos, but we lucked out on clear weather and glass water on Lake McDonald. It was breathtaking... and we beat the incoming storm.

I've had the pleasure of knowing Heather for some years now in Whitefish so I was excited when she came to me with news of her engagement. I will be doing their wedding in June and can't wait... they are a lovely couple. Thanks so much guys, it was a lot of fun shooting you in "God's Country!"

and... I don't usually like these shots for some reason, but they just looked so dang cute that I had to post it!

Yesterday I got to shoot our great friends Dawn and Conrad. It's such a blessing to have such strong first time families going through the same thing.

I love you guys and know the little boy or girl in belly is going to be one lucky kiddo! With two teachers in the family this kid is going to be a wise one. We can't wait to meet little Rauscher!

Lynn-Wood has been one of my longest friends in Whitefish. She is the most vivacious, fun loving, and caring friend. She is due in March, along with me. I can't wait to raise our baby boys together.

Her and Jason just got engaged as well and I couldn't be happier for the two. They fit together so well, are so in love, and will be amazing parents. Aren't they both just glowing?! Thanks so much you two! It was such a fun shoot.

First and foremost I want to thank all my wonderful clients and friends for their support this 2009. It's been a wonderful year and I wouldn't have been able to do it without all of your beautiful smiles, laughter and love. 

This was hard to narrow down, and I know I missed many of my favorites because it was a wonderful year of photography.

Cheers to a wonderful 2010!!!

Sweet little Harper Elizabeth Holloway was born just a few days before Christmas. She is a perfect newborn and her parents Matt and Corrie couldn't be more in love. Thank you guys... she was an angel.

Today I got to shoot the lovely Shannon and her husband Chris. The couple are expecting twin girls in February. These little ladies will be loved with heaps of laughter... thanks you guys! It was a lot of fun and what a blessing for the both of you!

Today I had the privilege to shoot the Pfannenstiel-Thomas family. Tim and Melissa have two blue-eyed beauties Winter and India Rose. What wonderful names and lovely children. Melissa is going to be my doula for the birth of our little boy. Thank you for making me smile for the day. I really can't stop smiling at this happy, beautiful family.

Welcome to the world Fern Matilda Knight! (10 days old!) You are beautiful and have wonderful, loving, fun and supportive parents. I love you sweetness and look forward to watching you grow.
