Today not only did I get to shoot the wonderful Heather and Will's engagement photos, but we lucked out on clear weather and glass water on Lake McDonald. It was breathtaking... and we beat the incoming storm.

I've had the pleasure of knowing Heather for some years now in Whitefish so I was excited when she came to me with news of her engagement. I will be doing their wedding in June and can't wait... they are a lovely couple. Thanks so much guys, it was a lot of fun shooting you in "God's Country!"

and... I don't usually like these shots for some reason, but they just looked so dang cute that I had to post it!

Yesterday I got to shoot our great friends Dawn and Conrad. It's such a blessing to have such strong first time families going through the same thing.

I love you guys and know the little boy or girl in belly is going to be one lucky kiddo! With two teachers in the family this kid is going to be a wise one. We can't wait to meet little Rauscher!

Lynn-Wood has been one of my longest friends in Whitefish. She is the most vivacious, fun loving, and caring friend. She is due in March, along with me. I can't wait to raise our baby boys together.

Her and Jason just got engaged as well and I couldn't be happier for the two. They fit together so well, are so in love, and will be amazing parents. Aren't they both just glowing?! Thanks so much you two! It was such a fun shoot.

First and foremost I want to thank all my wonderful clients and friends for their support this 2009. It's been a wonderful year and I wouldn't have been able to do it without all of your beautiful smiles, laughter and love. 

This was hard to narrow down, and I know I missed many of my favorites because it was a wonderful year of photography.

Cheers to a wonderful 2010!!!

Sweet little Harper Elizabeth Holloway was born just a few days before Christmas. She is a perfect newborn and her parents Matt and Corrie couldn't be more in love. Thank you guys... she was an angel.

Today I got to shoot the lovely Shannon and her husband Chris. The couple are expecting twin girls in February. These little ladies will be loved with heaps of laughter... thanks you guys! It was a lot of fun and what a blessing for the both of you!

Today I had the privilege to shoot the Pfannenstiel-Thomas family. Tim and Melissa have two blue-eyed beauties Winter and India Rose. What wonderful names and lovely children. Melissa is going to be my doula for the birth of our little boy. Thank you for making me smile for the day. I really can't stop smiling at this happy, beautiful family.

Welcome to the world Fern Matilda Knight! (10 days old!) You are beautiful and have wonderful, loving, fun and supportive parents. I love you sweetness and look forward to watching you grow.

It may not look it, but it was a cold cold October morning when we shot this. About a balmy 11 degrees. But Owen and Nicole were the best sports, tramping around the alleys and buildings of downtown Bozeman. We had so much fun and stopped to take warm up breaks. I will be shooting this brilliant couple's wedding photos next July (hopefully with warmer temps!)It was so much to shoot in a new town!

Sweet newborn Madison was just about 2 weeks old when I photographed her. She was so precious. She wanted to sleep, like babies do, but we still got a few pics of her awake and either way, she was just too cute.

She's almost making the "hang loose" sign. Keep it real Madison, keep it real! :)

This was a very special wedding for me. I've gotten to know Melissa, Sean and their sweet son Max the last couple months through photography. They are one incredible, sincere, and truly genuine family. It was such a gorgeous wedding and I'm thankful to have captured it through my lens. (I was following Melissa mostly, so sorry Sean, there will be more of you and your boys with the rest of the photos. Thanks Alicia for covering the guys!)

I was able to shoot little Clare in her mom's belly... and four months later here she is! Isn't she a doll! She really is one sweet sweet baby. And she loves her mommy and daddy. Thanks Paul, Mary and little ballerina girl! You were wonderful subjects and your happiness is contagious!

My lovely and dear friend Emily is from Whitefish but her and Adrian now live in Portland. They were home for Labor day weekend to look at venues for their wedding next September. It was wonderful to spend some time with this lovely duo. I wish so often they lived in Whitefish again... but we like Portland so it just means we need to visit.
